Husky Poodle Mix

The husky poodle breed is the result of crossing two of the most popular dog breeds – Siberian Husky and Standard Poodle. The pup is also called a Poosky, Poodoodle, Siberian Poodle, and Siberian Doodle and can be found in shelters as well as from reputable breeders. These dogs make great companions for active people who have experience with high-energy dogs.

Like their parents, the husky poodle mix is extremely intelligent and easy to train. They do not shed, making them a good choice for people who live in apartments. However, they do need regular grooming and brushing twice or three times per week to keep the coat in good shape and to remove any dead hair that may get on clothing.

A husky poodle mix can be black, white, gray, or a combination of colors. They usually have the floppy ears of their poodle parent and often inherit the bright blue eyes that are characteristic of the Husky.

Exercising the Husky Poodle Mix: Keeping Your Poosky Active and Healthy

These dogs are very affectionate and love their families, but they do best in homes without small children. This is because they are not always tolerant of children’s rough play and can be skittish around them. They love to spend time with the family and enjoy their daily walks, dog parks, and playtime sessions with other pets.

As a high-energy dog, the husky poodle mix needs plenty of daily exercise to be happy and healthy. They will do best in a large home with a backyard where they can run, play, and expend their energy.
